SLLU workshops

Sunday saw the first of what I hope will be a monthly event - a free workshop, held for SLLU members.

About half a dozen members joined me to learn how to make a basic chair. In Phil's Place I make and sell furniture, so it was good to be able to share some of what I have learnt. We hollowed and cut objects, created scuplted prims and textured and linked prims. The end result was a very smart looking 2 prim chair.

Thanks to everyone who showed up - this was my first time teaching in-world and it was a really relaxed and enjoyable event.

If you would like to hold a workshop, contact me in-world. It could be on building, scripting, making clothing, politics, history, music - whatever it is you would like to share. Also, if there is workshop you would like to see, contact me. There is so much knowledge amongst SLLU members, it would be great if we could make the workshops a regular event.
