A superb video by SL Artivist Taubchen Sonnenkern
Taubchen says, "This is Modern Times: a story of industry, of individual enterprise, of humanity crusading in the pursuit of happiness.
And Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they don't know what they are doing."
Ha.
This is a movie of my discontent with the current wave of hard boiled coldness that seems to be the new faith. There is only one god, called achievement. The only thing that matters is if you are at the top of the foodchain. Humans are even less than animals: objects to be exploited. We are living in a world steered by people who admire the teachings of an Aynd Rand: Objectivism. The teachings that tell us fiction that human progress is the achievement of a few selected individuals. Where did we hear that before? The superhumans that matter? Here race is replaced by an even worse concept: the few superhumans who should not be bound by such trival things as justice or compassion, for those things hamper progress. A group of individuals who are flawless and therefore should rule. Plato meets Nietzsche and their ideas are twisted into something both of these philosophers never intended and never meant.
And some of the sycophants call themselves Christians?
Doesn't Jesus say: have compassion with the weak?
Do you really think you are part of this superhuman elite????
People, regardless, are fallible and in that they are loveable.
No human is an infallible god that knows best and should rule because of it. Such people don't exist.
And in end: death is the great equalizer

We all have the choice about hyow we shall live in the world. The question is, do we have the courage to make the right choice, the fair choice, the kind choice, or will we turn our face away from what we really need to do?
